The Welcome Committee would like to acknowledge all new homeowners. Any questions you have about our community will be happily answered by members of your board or committee members. Please see this newsletter for contact information.

As chair of the Welcome Committee, I feel it is important to contact new homeowners in order to provide community information to make the transition easier and to introduce the HOA.

When we moved here from out of state twelve years ago we did enjoy a visit from the welcome wagon. This was, I found out later, because our realtor requested and paid for the service. It was fun to have a visitor who knew the community, but what we received were trinkets with advertising for merchants in Castle Rock and Monument that were not all that timely, informative, nor appreciated. What we needed was some basic information on the area and that was hard to find.

This is what the Welcome committee brings to you; area information that is needed and wanted. For instance, there are three ways to get rid of your trash here and, this one is near and dear to my heart, being an animal lover. Douglas County has a leash law and your animal, when not in your immediate control, can be in danger running loose.

This service is meant to be helpful and not intrusive. Simply ask by calling 303.352.1926 or email welcome@sageporthoa.org  and the Welcome Committee will try to answer your query.

Sue Koller, committee chair
